So I'm looking for new recruits for Black Nine Squadron. I haven't been able to get in touch with any of the old members, and I want to bring it back. I already have one person who is a member, but we need 8 more I think if we want to form an actual guild. post here if you want to join, and I will set a time for everyone to join.

A little background on your guild ethos is in order here. Please elucidate.

Okay, so the history of the Black Nines is kinda hard to explain, but the basic idea is that a group of Itani form together. (sorry Serco and UIT, gotta know the history)

So a list of rules to follow for the guild:

1) never attack another player unless they are hostile towards you. I loathe pirates unless they are attacking bot traders. If you're low on cash, go ahead and kill bots, NO humans though.

2) never, EVER run away! The origional group consisted of six people and during our one and only battle two of them ran away.

3) I guess we are a merc group, but mainly just trying to make a community here. Semi-independant exccept for the whole "have to be Itani thing"

4) If someone in the group needs help you MUST respond if it is safe to do so. This is a group thing and whatever we do is for the group not just ourselves.

That's about it for now, I can come up with stuff later based on people's comments. I will also be creating a website for this so look for it later on the boards. If you want to see the history scroll down, I just copy and pasted it from my origional post.

Hey everybody! (hey Dr. Nick!) I am looking to rebuild the Black Nine Squadron from Beta. As you all know, before the time of cargo capture (which is damn fun) there was capture the flag, and as you also know, many lives were lost attempting to capture the beach ball. Back in those days there were five or six of us Itani who decided to do a bus run on the flag. We all gathered at the Itani home sector and headed out towards the Serco base. When we reached the first station before the Serco base, the NPC guards attacked us. One of my wingmen was blown up, and two ran away (cowards!). Anyways, when the remainder of our squadron (two others now that I think about it) jumped into the Serco home sector, we found a HUGE Serco fleet preparing to go and capture the flag themselves. This was a problem. Seeing that stock busses could never fight the horde of Serco, we decided to boost for the flag. Interestingly, none of the Serco attacked us, so we figured that they hadn't seen us yet and we might have a chance to sneak by them. They did take notice, however, when my wingman picked up the flag and started running towards the jump point. The third guy and I were left to cover his retreat. Although we fought harder than we had ever fought before, the three of us were quickly splattered into space by seemingly thousands of missiles as they lit up they screen (scary when your radar just turns blue). although we were killed, and scored no kills or even hits of our own, we inadvertantly stopped the flag raid the Serco were about to perform. As one of my wingmen reported after a terrific death (I was the first to go since I was closest to the enemy ships), one or two of the enemy had launched Avalons and had blown up or damaged several of their own fighters who had been chasing us. This info combined with the fact that the Serco didn't attack that day, must have meant that a large number of people were unwilling to attack after what had happened. We decided, seeing as we wanted to be able to claim something, that we were in part responsible for preventing an unbeatable amount of Serco from attacking our base. As time progressed, we began bragging about how we had done it single-handedly, and that Black Nine was the greatest clan ever formed. Thus is the story of Black Nine Squadron.
