yet another proposed guild
So I'm beginning to feel an urge to group up with some players who share my view of vendetta ethics.
* We will never attack a player unprovoked, with an exception for Known hostiles.
Players who attack others for profit or sport know the consequences of their actions.
* We will never run from a fight.
The experience and respect gained from staying and fighting is worth more than the loss of your ship.
* We will not resort to a "win at all costs" approach to fighting.
No missile spamming, rocket ramming, or warp killing (I'm not sure if that was fixed or not).
In regards to CtC...
* While participating in CtC the only point that needs to be followed is the third (no missile spamming, rocket ramming, or warp killing).
* What happens in CtC... Stays in CtC!
Someone who attacks your nations convoy would not be considered a known hostile during general play.
Since this is a multi-nation guild, it's possible that you could be against a guildmate during a CtC round. This should all be taken in good fun, and no personal vendettas or grudges should spawn in regards to it.
* No selling of cargo
Lately there have been players who will steal the cargo just to sell it to the highest bidder, I completely disagree with this practice, Winning a round should not be dependent on credits.
* UIT involvement
I have no problem with UIT players wanting to get involved in CtC, but I do have an issue with those who wish to participate without taking a side.
If you're not willing to destroy a transport because of the faction hit, you shouldn't be delivering it's cargo to the enemy either.
Killing a transport and then delivering it's cargo to it's own nation is also frowned upon. I'm against this because the only reason for doing it is personal gain, be it credits, standing, or a higher spot on the scoreboard.
So those are the points I try my best to follow ingame, and was hoping that others with the same feelings would like to join me. :D
All nations are more than welcome to join.
Also, if anyone can think of an appropriate name for the guild I'd love to hear it

Let me suggest the 'White Lotus Society'. It fits well with your principles.
Btw I started CtC because a pilot once called all Itani on channel 100 to join forces repelling Serco assaults on our convoy. It was a very 'patriotic' call at that time and the pilot was ... Aon :)

The proposed guild is multinational. Hence the white. Besides, the first White Lotus Society that existed in Ancient Earth is supposed to have gathered support due to strong ethics with military excellence.
This was only a suggestion.
I do not intend to participate in this new guild although I very much like the idea and I have much respect for its originator. IDF is not so different. And it's BLUE :)

Might I suggest that you close this thread and repost with your new guild name included in the header? It may attract more attention than it's current incarnation. Just a thought.

well I didn't want to start another thread but I just might make a post in general to draw some attention, I can't possibly be the only player with these thoughts.
