CPV Imitatis

Apr 11, 2005 leapfrog link
Shape, the Vipers would like you to come down to the station to discuss some docudiscs we found in the wreckage of a recently dispatched pirating vessel - concerning subject "Corvus Pirating Vessel". Looks suspiciously like a modified Cap ship, and we have a few concerns.

Ha, preposterous. Creating such a ship would give serco and itani good cause to hamper our independence.

We pirates would never DREAM of messing with the delicate balance that holds back armageddon.

Mind giving us coordinates for that station? We need to test ...err... talk.

Obviously this is a cunning plan designed to lure us into a trap or make us reveal if we were working on a secret pirate heavy cruiser.

It's clearly a trick because we'd never call it the CPV Imitatis. It's called the PV Yarrr!

Errmm I meant it "would" be called the PV Yarrr! if, of course, we were ever to create one.

Hummm... such is what we initially thought. However, upon further reflection, it was suspicious that the plans were so hastily hidden in such an ancient form of technology... and... there are the "similarities" to contend with.

As far as the coordinates... well, as you know we prefer to dispatch our own transportation to help ensure your safety.

I have not seen the "CPV Imitatis" in action, and I do not think its firepower is awesome and a force to be feared in the galaxy. It is definitely not a threat to the Serco Dominion or the Itani Nation. This issue should be dropped.
t/msg "Shape" I think they bought it

All quiet along main trade routes. Few routine distress calls - nothing requiring assistance. Actually, it is too quiet. Since the CapShips have started running through Sedina B-8, the traders have had an easy go during their runs. Several merchants have been thankful for the Cap triad introduction... profits are reported to be way up, and they are actually starting to schedule their most valuable runs in synch with the "free-for-all" that ensues with the Caps arrival in B-8. If the pirates were to bring out their own version... hummmm...

Reminder: discuss with the Commander that pirate "beer" incident - where Holden and Martin smuggled through Bractus channels, replacing the Nyrius Bock in the recreation center with that "Roid Rammer" ale... we had three men hungov... erm, on med leave for three days after that incident.

:D

So that's where the VPR's have been. Sloshed on pie-rat ale.

Yeah... act all innocent, there Martin. Like you didn't think we would figure out your little... uh... trick to swap those refreshments, albeit a bit late. You left your biosig all over that 2unit container. Uh, maybe it would be a good idea if you came to the station, too.

*whispers to Martin* Wait till they realize that we spiced the beer with gene therapy doses.

Vipers, like all snakes, should shed skin right? *chuckles*

Eh? I really mean it, I thought VPR beer is, er, *very* good.
Apr 14, 2005 ArAsH link
VPR beer is one of the best in the known galaxy. Its not a strong beer, 5,5% alcohol but its tasty and doesn't realy leave you hung over the next morning. This is the reason why it's loved by combat pilots that need to strap in the next morning to fight another day.

So that's where my stock of Serco Roid Rammers went. And y'all said that space rats must have gotten them. Space rats HA! More like space pie-rats! Some one owes me a few new cases Martin...
