Actually, way I hear it, the neighbors hate it, and sued the family last year.

Hmmm, can't find the article. Anyway, imagine you're the neighbors and trying to sleep with all that light glaring at the windows. Add to that the noises from a lot of people in the street oohing and aahing, and cars coming and going just to watch the thing, with attendant problems like the street being unpassable and a lot of garbage littering it by the morning. However, this show is not as glaring as last years'; maybe this time they won't get sued. Last time they had to kill the show so the charges would be dropped.
