thats really odd, because i have been on WoW a number of times when people were openly calling each other 'fag' and saying 'thats gay', 'thats teh gay', 'thats gey', or 'thats ghey'.

at least there it looks like they actually have a way to promote guilds based on the political, sexal, religious, etc. descrimination. If we do that here we get BANNED!!

preference - noun - a greater liking for one alternative over another or others

discrimination - noun - the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things

I'm sure if you discriminate in WoW, you too would get banned. Unless, just maybe, it is roleplaying, such as Alliance against Horde. This would be the same as Serco against Itani as both pairings are on opposing sides of a war.

I'll tell you that in all the MMORPGs I've been too, the only one where I've actually witnessed a crackdown on foul mouthed players is VO. I suppose it happens everywhere, But I never saw it happen in Redmoon, nor EnB, nor ShadowBane, to mention a few, though I did catch many and copious instances of abusive behavior above and beyond RPing in all of them.

I find it strange that there are WoW Guilds with Real World affiliations, though; that's just plain BIZARRE. What do you think, the GOP Guild, Alliance or Horde? How 'bout the Neo-Nazi Guild? The Gay and Lesbian Association Guild? GreenPeace Guild? Universal Human Rights Guild? Catholicism WOW Guild?
