Please can I be a grammar Nazi just this once?

For the record, the rumor that sector 15 is already connected appears to have been false.

If it was, incarnate would update the news and something somewhere would say s15 now connected. (hopefully, because incarnate says he posts everything there)

Oh and, Apple, now brings you these wonderful objects!
10, 15, and 30 gb ipods!
iTunes 4!
Music download service! 99c per song!
*note* Download service is currently limited to the USA and Mac users.
Now onl if i had enough songs i liked to fill up 30gb of it...

I had the opportunity to repair a Dual USB iBook last week... The power supply plug broke off inside the socket in the laptop, which was bent all out of shape.

Anyway, it's a nice laptop. I just wish MacOS X would run on commodity hardware. I don't care much for paying inflated prices for proprietary hardware in todays age of commodity computing.

But you have got to love there ipods! Sorry but no window music download service =P

For the record I don't like the new iPod. The new, sleek shape and the 30 GB is all well and good, but a cradle! BOOOOOO!!!! Cradles are big and clunky, it was much more elegant to just connect the firewire cable, and I understand that Apple wanted to add USB 2.0 support but they still get a big hearty BOOOOOO!!!! Yeah, but the new music service rocks! Think Safari will get the same face lift iTunes did? I bet it will.

I like the idea of it having a cradle... And DAMN that interface for the iPod is nice... And it comes with solitaire!!! :P
Apr 30, 2003 Suicidal Lemming link
Hrmmm, does it have pyramid? i like pyramid. (another type of solitaire)
I like cradles, cradles keep the back of stuff from resting on sand and getting all scrached.

I don't think you need to use the cradle, if you do thats bad, whatever. (just use the cradle! not the end of the world (as we know it, man i have got to stop playing with music service (i like apple (apple people might like pie))))

I remember getting something somewhere that let me play .ogg files in iTunes 3... let's see... here! http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20021103065300430

Yeah, I can play .oggs in iTunes 3 too. I already have the plug and oggdrop. I'm talking about one for the iPod...
May 01, 2003 roguelazer link
Yeah, someone needs to make (and release, not just make as a demonstration) an ogg player. mp3's are meh.
May 01, 2003 Pyro link
Ooo! I'd buy a windows media device in an instant! How about one that plays aiffs? :P Actually, I've got the riovolt SP90... I got it for about 100 bucks about a year and a half ago... It's a cd player that can handle mp3s... :D
May 01, 2003 roguelazer link
A "Windows Media" device? Like something that plays wma files? Like EVERY mp3 player ever? Like EVERY mp3 player I've ever used? Like one of them?

I just bought a 5 Gig iPod off a cow-orker for $100. It's in good shape, and replaces my ailing 64-meg MP3 player.
