Well over 4 years.

What sucks is, i can't download the override\classic TCs to my mac, and i can't find a CD to burn them to to transfer them from my pc to my mac.

ARGH.

Me thinks they should give somebody the option of switching between arcade and physics. Like in vendetta, it looks like a winning combination.

If it is for that long time, maybe they are right. Ooh well Ill just quit with it, its not that much to my liking :D. Those pirates constantly board me, i really cant fly in physics mode :(.

Renegade, there is a plugin that makes all the ships inertialess, but, you need to purchase EVN to use plugins.

And i have no clue if it works with the current version of EV, inertialess is kinda like arcade.

Besides, arcade mode is just the thrusters constantly thrusting pretty much, suo just hold down the up key, but some ships in EVN go pretty fast and are a nuisance to stop when they are, like the Pirate Valkyrie Class IV has 550 in speed but 250 in accel. I think.

Oh yah, those ships look cool too, especially if you have a plugin for paint. ;-) Nothing like a bright white javelin going after you, or hot pink!

Also, the polaris raven is in arcade, but you get that near the end of the mission string.

hahahah.. on my mac, i just cracked it so i could use plugins without paying. registration wasn't worth it. the origional EV was best.

Wow, I cracked it like... last year almost. Oh wait, it was last year.

And we are not impressed.

And please stop calling it arcade and physics, the game series has been out quite a bit longer then vendetta. Also, urza, if registration wasn't worth it, then don't play with plug-ins, because, obviously, they aren't worth it.

Listen, the game supplied with the EVN engine is there to demonstrate what the engine can do, most of the cost is for the ability to use plugins, right now there are 3 TCs out:
Polycon.
Override port.
Classic port.

And there are more TC plugins on there way, along with the ability for makers of TC plugins for overide and classic to port there plugins for the port of overide and classic.

Since when do you get it near the end of the mission string? Since they're your allies, they won't fire back unless you target them. Just fly up, start shooting, stop, check their health, rinse, lather, and repeat. I got a Nil'Kemoraya Raven a few missions in like that. And I was in a Mod Starbridge... And Urza, Panda, please don't crack it. Ambrosia is a small company, and they don't overcharge for it at all. The mission strings are deeply engrossing, and with the plugin system there's unlimited playtime. Why are you guys pirating it?

Plus, i find the polycon plugin really fun.
