Hahaha, wow. As though Trump cares about space. NASA's budget under Trump is pretty much the same as it was under Obama, more or less 0.5%. If he actually gave a shit, he'd have trimmed a few percent off the military and dumped it into NASA to bring them up to a nice, healthy 5%, and then ordered them to put somebody on Mars before 2020. But he gives just as few shits as Clinton, Obama, and Bush. It's just another excuse to mumble at a camera and take credit for what other people are doing.

When we get to Mars, it's not going to be thanks to some asshole politician. It's going to be thanks to rich geeks taking matters into their own hands and doing something useful with themselves instead of spending their time doing reality TV programs and harassing women.
