Here are some of the duties of a Cannon Crewmember:

    * Starts and maintains wire and radio communications
    * Identifies target locations
    * Operates self-propelled howitzers, ammunition trucks and other vehicles

They forgot
    * Is a target location

"Cannon Crewmembers constantly lift heavy objects and perform strenuous activity for long periods without rest."

Sounds fun...

3 years, 14 weeks, and that's if I don't reenlist

That's also if you aren't forced to stay in the army longer.

Ewww! Army? Back packin', gun shootin', killin' machine sons of... ;P

Anyways, I can only speak for the Navy, but basic training will suck, but when you make it through you will be able to do anything and take anything.

All you have to do is remind yourself that, "Hey, I got through basic training! I am INVINCIBLE!"

Good luck :)

Oh come on Navy basic training is easier than band camp. The hardest part of being in the Navy is those dog bowls you have to wear on your head ;)

Other than that Noduic is on the money.

Heh...dog bowls...

While it is ture that Navy boot camp is rather easy... umm.... the Army's basic training is even easier? No that's not right...

Hmm... the Navy may give it's recruits foot massages, but the Army dosen't?

Yea that works.

I think you mean "3 years, 14 weeks, until I get a stop-loss order and have to stay a few more years, especially after we invade Iran and North Korea"

I think Ananzi may have the right of it. :-(

My son is in the same boat. Here is his job.
