Star Control II
I just wanted to see how many of you have played Star Control 2. It released for the PC in the mid 90's and later had a more updated version released for the Panasonic 3D0.
I'm still a HUGE fan of that game. I think it's one of the most elaborate and detailed space RPG's todate. and the scroll-zooming 3d combat still gets my blood pumping sometimes! any of you that enjoyed that game, share your experiences here.

I played SC3, it was pretty cool. (Especially the lizard guys who ate small rodent guys and they were like one species)

I played that one, so I'm unsure as how it compares to your experience of the game, but I found it to be hilarious (especially the different alien races). Combat... since I only got to see SP, it was rather boring. Max out your Vindicator, blast away, and don't get close. Storyline: Haven't finished it (version I played wasn't finished, after that I sort of lost Interest since it takes lots of time to do the game right, at least for me).
