weapon3, weapon4, weapon5 should be missile1,2,3
weapon6-7 should be mine1-2

IMO it'd be better to change the commands to match the manual, rather than change the manual to match the commands. You can make your weapon groups with any type of weapon, you're not restricted to missiles or mines.

Slightly off-topic, but I'm still confused as to why primary fire is +Shoot2, and secondary is +Shoot1...

[edit]
Actually... the manual does already have missile1,2,3 & mine1,2:
Missile1 same as Weapon3
Missile2 same as Weapon4
Missile3 same as Weapon5
Mine1 same as Weapon6
Mine2 same as Weapon7

Do the Weapon# commands not work?

So I got a question... does anybody actually use all these different triggers? How much do we have? Eight total? And all of them are left over from the pre-alpha version of Vendetta, where you'd pickup weapon powerups and stuff.

I don't know about you but I only use two triggers max—primary and secondary. I can understand the need for maybe a third trigger. Yeah, I know some people have special binds that allow them to "chain fire" using all these different triggers. But I doubt anyone actually uses all eight.

Anyway it's not really a big deal. It's not really even worth the time and effort to dig into the old code and trim it out now. Just sayin'...

Weapon3-7 don't work for me. It's possible there were some aliases that I missed...

Beolach, it does make sense for the 3 different sets of groups to have different names, though it's true missile, and mine are out dated. Something along the lines of primary, secondary, and tertiary would make more sense. At any time you have exactly 3 groups active, one from 1-2, one from 3-5 and one from 6-7, which correspond to the three different firing keys.

Weapons 3-7 don't work in binds. I'd actually prefer it that the weapon groups aren't hard coded to be bound to primary, secondary, and tertiary triggers, but rather the player is able to set them. Certain weapon binds get less messy that way.

And actually, I found out about this a month or so ago, but someone (I can't remember who) told me not to post it (for some reason that I can't remember).
