Aug 15, 2005 johnhawl218 link
This started this weekend as far as I can tell. Basically some of the replys text goes outside the boxes and into the scroll bar area. Not sure if this is my issue on my local as it's happend both at my home computer and at work.

here is a screenship of what I'm talking about.

I see what you are talking about on your image, though it does not appear that way for me when I look at the thread "live".

johnhawl218: Have you tried refrshing the page? Because some times that and similer things happen to me, if i refresh the page it fixes it. Not sure of the cause though.

yes I've even restarted the app and the comp, and it's happened at both my home and work computer. I'm using Firefox 1.0.4, perhaps its the app.

It could be because you are on a mac. Some times it doesn't get the font quite right. Also make sure sure you have the lasted version of Firefox. I beleve its 1.0.6 not 1.0.4. and try another browser like you suggested.

Sounds like the slashdot issue, where with dynamic content, if the server slowed down at just the right time, the content would get drawn BEFORE the bounding box and go outside it (or have other odd issues). I can't see why this server would be overburdened, though. We're not exactly /.

here's another example of another issue I get with link text. This is after upgrading to the latest Firefox on the net 1.0.6. Dont use any other browser.

Ok, I'm positive now that this is a Guild problem and something to do with there site specifically since I only get this issue when viewing there pages. I've upgrade browser, reloaded pages, done from multiple locations and I always get the same result, odd text overlaps on bolded or "formated" text or links in text.

Here is yet another example of bad formating, I refreshed the window several times and it continued to show up like this.
