There's something wrong with the Player Guilds page. It's not showing any of the guilds. I asked a friend and he confirmed that it was appearing wrong.

There does seem to be some problem with the website. They'll get it fixed.

Of course, if their code was properly nested, it wouldn't be a problem. They have this:

<b><a><font></font></b></a>

Aside from the fact that font is evil and they didn't quote any HTML attributes, that's still badly nested.

It would still be a problem; while it's true it true the </a> should be inside the </b>, and that <font> is depreciated, that's not the cause of the problem. The problem is that IE for some reason puts the background image above the links, so you can't click on the links. If you save the HTML of the file, you lose the pretty graphics, but the links become clickable in IE - even with the incorrect nesting.

I can't even find where the bg's set. Is it in CSS or in the JavaScript?

I'd say it's probably this line causing the bug:

TD.guildText {background:;}

That overrides this:

TD.guildText { background: url("http://images.vendetta-online.com/images/background3.png"); }

for some reason. Probably confuses IE's 10 year old CSS1 rendering engine.

I just got firefox and the 'duel stats' page is working fine now. I also got it because my roommates all have it and say it's better than explorer.

That's because it IS.
