Lightning mine range is really f***ed up!1!

Arolte just got my 27k bounty because of this bug. :(
The LMs stayed snagged all the way out to ~500m.

Okay, I can definitely confirm that there's a bug with the l-mines. About two or three days ago when I was leaving a mined station, I looked behind me as I was boosting away. Lo and behold a single bolt locked on to my ship from over 1200m away from the station. No matter how I turned or boosted or whatever, the thing stuck to me until I died. I REALLY hope this is fixed in the next version. No lag btw.

What I hate most about lmines is that they shoot THROUGH stations, though. It's annoying, because there can be a mine out my my view and it still kills me.

The collision detection code needs serious work - I'd guess it'll fix that.

the problem with the lmine (from expirince) is that the effect (on me at list) lasted a while after i got away from the mine...

it just cept on going down and it stops only if i go to a station to repair...

The collision detection code is fine. Lightning mines just don't use it. They suck.

Yes. EMP mines. Maybe the current l-mines can be replaced with EMP mines. They can have the same pretty lightning zapping FX, but they would drain energy instead of life.
