Skybox bug

Jun 24, 2003 Suicidal Lemming link
Well, i was entering s14, after i entered my fps was around 12 so i changed a few things.

I turned off anti-aliasing and brought down texture depth from 64 bit to 32 bit.

The skybox looked very very very weird after it reloaded graphics.

I was on my PC at the time, no effin clue at what is on it though.

It does that if you change texture depth. You need to reload your textures to fix it.

PS: WTF is 64-bit textures?

I meant 32, my bad.

Hmm, it reloads textures when you switch from one texture depth to another.

If you can get it to happen again, please email me a screen-shot. I'm interested to see what 'very weird' is. ;)

Try alt-entering twice to get the background to reload.

I took screen shots when i was like that, i'll email you one of them, it's pretty much the same around, but one side has pink spots instead of yellow lines

ray: I dunno about your comp, but any time I change the tex depth, the whole thing gets corrupted and I have to reload textures again (changing texture level down and back up is my preferred method)

Hmm, very odd. See if it still does that with 3.2.8 when it comes out.

vx, I've seen that before too.
It's pretty neat looking but obviously wrong.
Are you using an nvidia card in Linux?

Ive noticed one or more sections of the skybox turning white using the opengl driver. WindowsXP, Geforce4, ~2ghz P4, 512mb ddr ram.

Also - the sector wormhole 2d image is overlaping everything, like roids.

Yes, I am, actually.
