Android blue Ion Storm Bug

Aug 17, 2015 Frost_x27 link
There's a bug on android that the ion stroms appears to be color blue. As far as I know ion storms are supposed to have a rain effect but the whole sector is just color blue, literally. Can you please fix it. Thanks!

It's not a bug, its how it is on Android, because even the best mobile GPU would lag like hell with all the shader effects turned on.

Wrong driver.
OpenGL4 and DirectX11 Drivers on your device will make this possible

FTFY

I've been asking for this for years. My crappy old laptop's GMA950 has to suffer through the glow particles with no way to turn them off, but even the beefy Snapdragon and Tegra chips they put in phones in tablets these days don't even have an option to enable it.

Even the best (Tegra 3/4) GPUs are designed to be low power and have NOTHING on a half decent full GPU. Show me some specs to back your shit up ARF, because I follow a lot of mobile device development.

Even recent Intel GPU's knock the pants off quad core mobile GPU's.

And please don't mention the Tegra K1 or X1, they are not running GTA5, or anything close.

Even the best Tegra 3/4 GPUs run a hundred circles around a GMA950 before it can render a complete frame. We're not talking about modern Intel GPUs here. These things suck

Also, it runs fine on the iPad version with the particle effect. My iPad 2 is just using a mobile PowerVR in the same class as a lot of Android gear has.

We're not talking about GTA5 here, we're talking about Vendetta Online.

Devs: Just add a stinking switch in the options to turn on/off the particle effect.

So what in the world am I supposed to do? Should I just wait for something in the next update or replace my Android device? Btw, my device also uses PowerVr.

Replace your device

Replacing your device won't make the ion particle effect show up. It's disabled for all Android devices until the devs decide not to enable it.

You could play the game on a PC. Even an old one will run it pretty well.

Replace your device and make sure the driver you're using is an OpenGL4 or DirectX11

RMJ, not to be funny, but shut up.

Even the old DX9/reference OGL driver has the storm effect, do you even know what you are talking about?
