Trident: undocking with ship: prices

When undocking with a ship from a dent, the price in /Jettison wont be updated, you'll have to wait 1 min to show up.

This isn't a bug.. it's supposed to refresh once every minute.

It is, you misunderstood me. To reproduce:

Load something, dock to dent, controll dent, go to a different sector, undock with the ship from your hangar, open /Jettison.

I attached a screenshot of the issue:

I'm still not seeing what the bug is. It takes one minute for the stations to reply with what they're offering for your particular item. If it properly updates within a minute, this is intended behaviour.

If you wanted to suggest that all ships in Cargo of Tridents have their inventories updated once per minute (alongside the Trident refresh) then that's a Suggestion, not a Bug.

When you undock with an unknown item in a sector, it takes one minute for that data to be sent out, and pricing information to be sent back to you from all the stations. This isn't insta-trading, you'll need to have some kind of sacrifice for your Trident Hauling. The fact that the game doesn't realise that the Ships inside the Trident need inventory updating is because the game treats the Ships as Cargo, not Ships. So when you undock with it, the server needs to update the information because according to it, it's a new ship with new cargo.

Stop being so lazy and wait the one minute (jeez such a struggle for [almost] insta-best price).

I just wanted to report it, i didnt say i needs to be fixed ASAP... its not like its a showstopper or anything, cause i already know where to sell the stuff anyway.

It's also not a bug.

I agree it's annoying and problematic, and should be changed...via a suggestion.

Basically, a bug is something that is functioning not as intended.

What you're describing is something working as intended. I'm not saying it's perfect, or ideal, or couldn't be improved.. just that it is working exactly as it was intended to work.

An enhancement that intentionally improves the functionality of software is a "feature", and ideas for new features and improvements are posted to the Suggestions Forum.

I'm all for improving things, that's why I spend 90% of my forum-time on Suggestions. But that's where to locate things like this, written clearly in a way to suggest exactly what improvement you're targeting, and how it will enhance gameplay.
