Since the last update, when you jump the text input gets disabled and will be enabled once you finished loading the sector.

Before you could type and it wouldnt be reset when you enter the sector nor did it get disabled while loading.

It is really handy to chat or enter commands while jumping. im aware of the /msg issues but disabling it completely as a workaround is bad too.

EDIT: just with playing a few hours, im already quite pissed and mad about this... can we please have a fix for this

This didnt get fixed fully. Sometimes the things you are writing still get reset when jumping. Its happening rarely now tough.

Found a way to trigger it. While jumping, the chat will be disabled for a slight moment. in this moment all keys you press are for the hotkeys, ie i open navigation, jettison, etc. So you have to stop typing a short moment, in the right moment.

This did not get fixed fully at all.

When you warp the chatbox loses focus for just a moment, and if you are typing it can cause issues. Sure it opens again with previous entered text, but if you are typing during that part it forgets.

Yeah, sorry, but this bug is still around on any platform I use, which is all but Mac OS/iOS. There is a small moment when you are jumping that the text box loses focus, and then when the focus is back the text you entered is simply in white on the bottom of the chatbox and you have to re-open it.

It is hard to explain, will try grab some screenies or maybe make a video.

Also you cannot chat when you die, until you end up back in the station 9 out of 10 times.
