I started a new character. Just finished Flight Test and was starting Beginner Combat. I had bought a cent 1 and plasma hx and a light power cell. All showed available and within my 1/1/// license level. I get to the sector and find I'm only able to get off a couple of delayed shots for each trigger pull. Thinking I had done something wrong, I went back to the station and experimented. The cent 1 was the only ship that I could not fire from though I did not have any issue with any flight control on the ship.

I then tried the other ships available with the same setup. The EC 98 and EC 101 both performed as expected. So either the cent 1 should not be available even though it only requires combat 1 or there is a bug somewhere else that is causing this problem.

After getting to 2/2/2// I still was unable to use my weapon on the cent 1.

You attach the weapon to the Centurion and it won't fire but if you attach it to EC-98 or EC-101 it does fire? Check that your weapon groups are set up properly and verify that the problem still occurs with no plugins installed.

Could I be any more of an idiot? That is the one thing I did not check. I've never had a ship where the weapon port was not assigned to a trigger group upon purchase before. I didn't even think that this might be the case when my other purchases immediately following worked correctly. I apologize for my stupidity.
