I tried repairing NPC ships from Orion, but for some reason the Behemoths, Atlasses, and Centaurs started attacking me. I tried the main repair gear and the repair turret to the same end.

My standing with Orion is at Admire. Is this a bug?

All AI see the repair gun as a weapon hit, and attack whoever fired it. It is not really a bug but more of a design flaw. Same thing happens with furies.

I can understand with furies, but these orion ships were not even part of a regular NPC escort. They just sat there in Azek. Not marked as CtC either, and I avoid them.

You sure? I remember repairing my furies with no issues when they would get damaged.

About a week or two weeks ago, I repaired the Edras Tunguska Station Guard vultures on a whim: they did not turn aggressive. I may have used repair mod mk IIs.

Station guards are only hostile to repairs if you've bumped into them prior to repairing them. Other NPCs may act the same way.

I guess the furies only attack if a pilot other than the owner tries to rep. I rep mine all the time.
