You can also get the client by torrent instead of a direct download.

What version of Windows and what are the MD5 hash values of the installed files?

Just a FYI, I had an issue with downloading VO when I had Avira anti-virus installed. It didn't really do a good job of telling me it had blocked parts of the download, it just did. Obviously I wouldn't recommend using the Interwebs without sane protection in place, but a good place to start might just be your anti-virus program.

I have downloaded the windows VO client about 6 times this week for various reasons, both via http and torrent and not had an issue.
