i was messing around and i noticed that a heavy storm radar can see up to 2000m but when i am flying in an ion killing bots i get to see up to 4500m that's as far as i could see them on sensor log. and the smaller 1000m range storm radar i can see up to 2000m. i was using a tungaska miner marauder so i don't know that effects it because the ship doesn't say anything that it has. also one of those tungaska miner marauder i was using when to test that 4000m distance thing if it could stack i had a rail advance and two heavy storm radar, i had a fast charge on the ship but instead of getting 12/20 grid i keeped a 4/20 grid. i am assuming the the heavy is doing this because there was two of them, and those storm radar uses 4 grid usage.

It is an extender. it extends your range by 1000m. So if you can see 1500m without one, you can see 2500m with.

They do not stack with each other, so if you fit 2, only 1 is active.

I do not quite get the last bit, but if you are saying when you had a railgun fitted, and 2 storm extenders, then yeah, that is a bug. If you are trying to say that while having _only_ 2 radars fitted it only took 4 grid, that is expected, as only 1 extender is active, no matter how many you have.

but with out the extenders i can only see less than 500m range how does that work with just one heavy storm radar up to 4500m?

Oh right. I get what you are saying now. Sorry. I thought you meant you expected them to stack. Hmm, dunno, afaik the tung maud doesn't have built-in anything?

it doesn't say anything about the ship at all before i buy it. but yes before i noticed this i was bored and wanted to see it stack for no apparent reason, it doesn't matter it seems lol.

He is saying the stated stats are incorrect. I confirmed this as well, unless I am missing something here
