Unrat saterday connie exploit

Oct 17, 2020 Stavinair Caeruleum link
[Someone] has been dragging the unrat connie from the debirs out into the middle of nowhere. This is getting exceedingly frustrating as its an exploit that hasn't been addressed. Getting really goddamn tired of this crap. Entered Latos H5 at: Sat Oct 17 13:07:17 2020. I live in Chicago, same timezone. Please do something to address this. Maybe make the connie not go past the debris? Or something? A boundary? Not have it go after cappies?

Noted, but please do not use the forums to call out individuals or groups here, as it creates drama and interferes with resolution. By all means use the ticket system to report people who exploit bugs so that the devs can deal with it appropriately.

Or just get there first.

It's clearly an exploit, getting there first doesn't mean you get to exploit the game.

I agree with not allowing it to stay out, once dragged!
A perfect repair would have the Connie return to the debris once left alone in the system for (X) amount of minutes.

or as soon as another ship enters the sector

or as soon as another ship enters the sector

The conie already follows the most recent capital ship to enter the sector.

if someone drags the connie out far enough, it won't come back.

In my experience it always comes back.

If its 50k+ it doesn't come back. Even if you bring a cappie. And whats to stop a player from afking in a cappie while the connie chases? It's a huge problem, that's for sure.

That is not true in my experience. I have been able to make ships over 200k come back. But they don't come back 140 m/s, more like 80 m/s.

So 50k out, at 80m/s is about 10 minutes or so. While annoying, it doesn't seem like an inordinate amount of time to fart around.
