Could you be a little more detailed in what you're reporting, please?

Like, where you were in the game (and when), what kind of platform and device you're playing on, what sorts of escorts you mean? (Convoy missions? Blockades? Furies?)

Your post implies this has been happening for awhile, but doesn't link to or reference another bug post. It also says you "disabled" escorts somehow, which I.. have no idea what that means.

We do appreciate bug reports, but if they don't have a decent amount of specifics and details, we can't really act on them.

typo, should have said "I'm temporarily disabled"

The person I was pvping with said it happens to them too. I'm referring to trade convoy missions. The sector in question for this post was latos H-2, but I've seen it everywhere. The game literally just freezes up.

And yes, it's been happening for at least a couple weeks. Hard to know when exactly it started because it's the kind of thing you don't think is a problem until it continues to happen many times over.

I'm on a Mac Pro 5,1, OS 10.13. I play with moderate to minimal graphics settings and the background turned off.

Do you use the "preload all assets" setting to cache textures in memory?

Could your plugins be doing anything when ships are jumping into the sector? Like, for instance, if a plugin is executing a function, that for some reason now takes longer, that could make there "seem" to be a performance drop, but only because a plugin is using a function in the wrong way.

I'm not saying it's that, but it'd be helpful if you could try eliminating the plugin thing by running the game "vanilla" and see if you still experience the issue.

Also, do you use the GL2 or the GL4 driver?
