This could be major. I was fighting with SpaceDog at around 8:30 pacific in sector 9, and he went in to dock. I moved towards the dock with the same intention, but i couldn't. So i decided to kamikazi onto him. He fired 6 gauss rounds into me, no damage. I fired a rail, damage.
However, no gates or docks work. A bit before this, i experienced all the roids disappearing, then reapparing a bit later. Ramming seems to do damage, but not weapons, i will leave my character on sector nine to examine(Please don't ram, devs may figure something by looking at the thing?)

Caustic also tried to damage me, to no avail.
I would leave and reconnect, but if peopel explotied this bug... in lets say someone elses home sector... yah... so better to fix this bug first.

That's the 'invisibility' bug that we've been trying to fix for a while. It doesn't happen very often though.
If this happens again, please try to stay online and post here just as you did and tell me what char and what sector and we will hopefully be able to figure it out.
If you become 'invisible' (docks, wormholes stop working) then I'll tell you to type in a command to help find this problem.

I thought the invisibility bug was when everything disappeared and remained disappeared, well the patch kicked me off the server sooo:P

That's not the invisibility bug. That's a sector crashing and restarting and the new one not realizing you were there. Which sector was it?

It was sector 9 and he wasn't invisible. He appeared like a normal player, but immortal, that's all. everything around this scene seemed normal, no strange things, no docking probs for me.

I've seen the "immortality bug" twice. Both times were buses. One was a player in sector 7 (gold bus), and the second was a player in sector 9 (blue bus).

alk0n, but i was the only player who was in the sector who it affected, there were others who were in it when that happened.

Yes, that is interesting. We'll have to take another look at that.

Of course, the fact that the sectors crashed in the first place worries me more than its imperfect recovery behavior.
