Entire Computer Crashes

Ok I made a bug report about this around 2 day ago but i need to see if anyone else is getting this and if you the devs know what could be the problem.

First things first, my computer is fairly new, 512mb RAM, 20Gigs, i think a 64mb graphics card, 100mbps DSL modem and i'm also networked. My OS is a Windows P4 from Dell.

Now the problem started about a couple days ago, i think right after you updated the server for the dreaded bug that killed about 3 of s9 docks and slowed all the other ones down. At first I flew into s7 and about 5 seconds later my computer restarted, i thought hmm maybe some with my computer went wrong, until I flew back into s7 and within 5-10 seconds my computer crashed once again. I then because cautious to go into s7 but I thought it might be a coincidence with my computer. So again i went into s7 and without fail it once again crashed after about 5-10 seconds after loading the sector.

Now today it was different, I subconsciously flew through s7 since it sorta became a habit to get my valk from 4 and go to 9 or 11 where the action was, so I flew into 9 and just realized that just flew by s7 with no problem. I then proceeded to go to s3 and attempt a cap. Just after I loaded the sector and regained control of my ship it restarted my computer. Next there was a contest being held in s2, i went right into it and again my computer restarted. The funny thing is after I restart my computer and go back onto the same character if it is in the sector it crashed it, i can stay there as long as i want and it won't crash unless i go back out and in again.

Has anyone else experienced this and devs do you have ANY idea at all what this could be?

Thank you

Long ago I had this problem with some old ATI drivers. When loading a new sector it would overload something or another. But the next set of drivers fixed it for me. Only happened to me randomly.

Hmm.
I emailed you but apparently the email didn't go through. I used the email address you have in your user info.
Anyways, try updating your video drivers to the latest version if you haven't already done so.
We haven't changed the client very much at all so I think it's just coincidental that it crashes in Vendetta now.
Did you install any other apps? Did you check to make sure you don't have any viruses or anything like that?

no the email went through, i just never read my email :-D.
My current graphics card is a 64mb NVIDIA GeForce2 MX with TV Out, so i don't think it's the graphics card. Now it might be a bug considering the fact that I have no virus system atm, although I think my mom just bought one, so i'll see if i have one.

Thanks
