Mission filter persists between characters.
When creating a new character on an existing account, my partner ran into a problem during the first training mission where it was telling her to accept a mission but the mission list was empty. After several restarts and much frustrating troubleshooting I finally figured out that her new character had the same mission filter as her other character, making the list empty.
I considered this a bug rather than a suggestion as it could be totally frustrating for a new player that doesn't have an old player to figure things out for them (she was getting so wound up with it she was ready to just quit, silly I know).. Surely different characters might want that filter to be on a different selection too, makes very little sense for this option to be client/account wide. Also when clicking the mission filter with her gamepad while on this state, the gamepad stopped working and I had to use the touchscreen to change it to 'all', which again, isn't something she should have had to do in the first place.

P.s. this affects all versions of the game but for completeness:
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, EU version, 12gb, Snapdragon 8 gen 2, 1tb storage running official Android 15, One UI 7, Xbox series controller.

Thanks for the feedback, we'll take a look. At the very least, this should be mitigated for returning players who want to simply start a new character to re-familiarize themselves with the game.
But, just for clarity, can you explain the complete use case, here?
- Are you sharing a device?
- And then sharing a single account on a single device?
The game is very explicitly "one account per person", and a lot of assumptions are made in the game around that (like only being able to log in once, so you cannot have concurrent multiplayer sessions with two characters on a single account).
The assumption is that if more than one person wishes to share a device, they'll log in with separate accounts (which is supported).
That's actually mandated by the licensing agreement, and we have to do that for age tracking reasons (legal compliance), administrative purposes ("report" actions), etc.
I only mention this because, while I agree the illustrated case should be mitigated, if one continues to pursue usage of multiple people using a single account, you will run into other problems that stem from the underlying assumption of "one person per account". At some point, those are not Bugs, but rather intentional tradeoffs based on logistical realities.

One account for them, I have my own account that I don't use. They have their own device and was creating a new character on this acct/device because they didn't like the name the game made for them. Brand new install, brand new account, just a new character for that account.
So your assumption that one person, one account, one device is fine. They simply wanted to create a more permanent character after playing for a bit with a game generated one (I hope this makes sense?) - only reason I am reporting this and not them is because they are a bit shy (might not be fed back otherwise).
Thank you for your time!
The data is also stored under [account name], not [character name] in config.ini so it is not an assumption that this is account wide and would affect any new account regardless of account or device sharing.

This has been addressed in the latest update: Each character now has separate settings for mission category visibility.
Thanks for the report!

Although, as a followup..
Also when clicking the mission filter with her gamepad while on this state, the gamepad stopped working
We have not been able to reproduce this problem, with an Xbox controller on recent Android. So, if you run across it again, any additional details to help us would be welcome.
