Ok, in the loading sector screen, if i bring up the consol, the "loading sector" screen is replaced with everything on the upper left of my vendetta screen, and everything running behind the vendetta window.

os 10 annoys me... um... nevermind... anyways... did you have any thing else that was running in the back ground like aim or something that would interupt the program to launch its own screen? cuz sometimes this happens while i am trying to launch a game, and the screen goes black to load the game, then the fire wall pops up and that same type of thinghappens where part of the screen is one thing and part is another and it is like they were overlapped. So has this happened often? or just once? and what other programs were running in the background when this happened?

Wow! That doesn't happen for me. What version of OS X are you running?

16 mg ATI rage 128 pro grapics card
OS 10.2.8
I had camino (web browser) running at the same time as vendetta

Do you get the same problem when Camino isn't running in the background? Try quitting all your applications before running Vendetta to see if that fixes it. I've tried running applications in the background while running Vendetta but I've never had this problem with any of them.

Some applications may interfere with Vendetta by hogging up or screwing around with the priority of the system resources. I may be wrong but it looks like one of those applications (possibly Camino) is trying to invade Vendetta's space when this action is taken.

If the culprit is in fact Camino and only Camino, you may want to look into submitting a bug report for them rather than Vendetta. The web browser could be doing something it shouldn't be when it's accessing your system. If it isn't Camino, then something broke for OS X 10.2.8 during a recent Vendetta update. Panther seems to be unaffected.

I've noticed you've got 1024MB of RAM installed. That's a lot. Even though it may be plenty to have tons of applications running at the same time, I'd still turn off all applications before running a graphic intensive game such as Vendetta. It's not just RAM that's being consumed, it's also the CPU (and sometimes GPU). It'll boost your performance considerably and you won't have funkyness like this occuring.

Does this problem happen when you run Vendetta fullscreen?

from what he described i would guess not.. but if it does then it could be a more serious problem than just one program trying to gain dominance of the screen... u can play vendetta NOT in full screen???? O.o(how how how... not trying to take the thread off topic just wondering..).. and yes 1024mb is A S*** load of ram... i doubt ur comp ran out of memory.. lol..

Options>Video>Window/Full Screen

Set Vendetta's screen res to one setting lower than your monitor's current setting for best results.

i suspect it's Camino, and i've never tried running V in full screen... it's just ugly in general then. i'll do more tests on this bug.
