Misplaced textures
We have no sympathy. Go map some more, slave!
Do you have any idea how hard it is to set up good mapping coordinates on a curved surface?!
erm...that's called anisotrophic filtering...I dont think it's a bug, most likely settings with your video drivers...
Earlier, there was nothing to do, so I was looking at my valk and found that the textures don't quite line up right, maybe a UV map moving is in order?

rear of the Valkyrie, left side(it's on the right too, the left was just in more sun)

I sympathize, Vlad...Like trying to make "Ken" clothes fit on a "Barbie" doll!!
oh....ummmmmm...............nevermind
oh....ummmmmm...............nevermind
Or trying to fit "Barbie's" clothes on yourself...
uh...yeah...nevermind
uh...yeah...nevermind
Believe me, it's nothing like that. :)
It's more like trying to fit Vlad into a1k0n's UFO. :P
OK, Vlad...last time I sympathize with you!
(doesn't even know a parable, a similitude; specifically, a short fictitious narrative of something which might really occur in life or nature, by means of which a moral is drawn, when he hears one)
It's more like drawing a globe on a flat piece of rubber then trying to stretch it back onto the orb...with software!
:-P

Screw misplaced textures, let's see some visible weapons on those non-specials! Even if they're the generic laser gun rods. C'moooon! The EC-88 bus even has 'em for cryin' out loud.
Sheesh Waylon, it isn't that hard to just move your UVs over a tad :P
It looks fine when you use the highest resolution textures. It's just that when you lower the resolution, some of the texels get blurred in one direction, some get blurred in the other direction, and it doesn't line up anymore.
So are you trying to say that it's an engine problem?
But I can still see the seems at the highest texture resolutions :P
EDIT: mwahahaa

Run everything at max, including resolution, and force 8x AA and 16/8x AF (in the driver's settings... not in vendetta) and give us another screenshot.. You won't see the misplaced textures :P.

I painted the textures at 2048x2048. It looks fine in that rez. Mwahahaha.
And no, it's not an engine problem. It's a "that's the way texture mapping works" problem.
