Has anyone else noticed some very strange performance tweaks with these new drivers? I've noticed that r_glow seems to look quite a bit different. Texture quality seems to be different also, I never noticed there were seams in the Atlas' skin.... Might just be me, but load times also seem a bit better.

Not all are good though, Temporal Antialiasing and Vendetta _really_ dont like each other. I'll run some more tests and see if I can nail the problem down a bit.

- i'm thinking of upgrading to that card (tight budget)

Excellent. Overclocked to 366/333, the card will run Vendetta at 1600x1200 with max detail settings, and 2xAA, at 40-60fps

I have a 9700 pro and I think it's a great card.
I just installed the 4.7 drivers but didn't do any testing yet so I dunno if there are any problems with the drivers yet. I just assumed it would be fine but you know what happens when one assumes. I'll try to remember to check it out when I get into work.
