Dual Display Trouble
I run a system with dual displays at 2560x1024. This works well except vendetta will not let me use any resolution other than 2560x1024 and 2048x768 and therefore, stretches across both screens and leaves the crosshair right on the edge of my two monitors which makes it very hard to play. Is there any way I can get it to use a "standard" resolution? I'd love to play it in a 1024x768 window or so...
My guess would be turning off one monitor. I think Ray might have the real answer though if that doesn't work.
To the best of my knowledge, dual display is only workable for one particular format...though I can't find which one in the back postings.
You've got nVidia desktop stretching on. Shut it off when playing Vendetta.
Yeah, Vendetta enumerates the available resolutions and uses those. When in dual monitor mode, the video driver usually only shows the dual montior resolutions.
I should make it be able to use user-defined modes when in window-mode to help in your problem. It's never really been a priority.
The only current suggestion is what AlienB said. Try to disable dual-mode when playing Vendetta.

i assume your using either Macintosh or windows.
i use dual-heads under linux. with xanerama disables (GL doesnt accllerate under it anyway) both heads are seprate Xservers, so it only runs on one (but i can still use both (useful for IMing, and star-charts))
