Well, i have encountered this for like 2days but i was doing a trade mission with scraps, and when i got the last 4 scraps that needed to be delivered, i quit the previous mission since it asked to continue, and got a new one since i dont like doing missions i cant see the description with. When i got the mission it said "Server has Timed Out" and i thought it was a coincidence. So then i found myself far from the station with the same 4 pieces of cargo. So i went to the station again got rid of the mission they asked me for and got another mission and it timed out again. So what i did was started with the cargo went in and then gave it i logged off to save my progress, and then got the mission it worked fine but then 7 missions after it did it again. Im not sure if this happened to anyone but it is getting pretty annoying since it is sending me far away from the station when i am unaware.

Erm, don't you loose your current mission if you logoff?

Yes, happened to me also but, only once. I haven't been able to reproduce it and I didn't have verbose on.
