If you are doing a mission and quit the game in the middle of it, you will keep
the cargo, and the mission will be aborted with no apparent loss of standing.
Bug or Exploit? Either way, it's free money.

if I remember right, someone tried this before, and they were losing faction standing, they just didn't keep good enough track of it... might want to double check.

Yeah, unless something was changed you'll get penalized with this if you keep doing it. Give it a try.

EVERYONE: If you run across a bug which could be exploited for either gain or unfair advantage, please don't post how you were able to do it. Do that in an email to the devs or in a bug report.

Yes, we checked this, you lose the same standing when you log off as you do when you abort the mission. Also, if you run off with their cargo, they won't trust you anymore. The next 2 or 3 trading missions you take, they'll only offer you jobs where you buy the cargo yourself or collect scrap metal.

I learned late last week that one does in fact take a standing "hit." 39 points, to
be exact.

emailaddresses are simple, you find them by browsing the site.. or guessing (nickname@guildsoftware is a good start ;)

Bug report form can be found on your left. "Submit bug report" just below "Active Players"
