Everything in Vendetta just died. Meaning, my mouse, keyboard and joystick stopped working all together. The only think I _can_ do is move my joystick left, right, up and down and etc. Throttle doesn't work, and everything else is dead.

Did you change mouselook to on (;)? Do they work in other programs? Have you tried (after backing up your vendetta directory) deleting config.ini and wgaf.cfg?

Did you check your USB connections? Maybe someone decided to pull a prank on you.

it has something to do with hiting the ` while in mission comp (or possibly changing from general to mission) while in nav screen. Ive experianced the same thing just never got around to doing a bug report

if it ever happens again give it a few seconds and it should all come back online.

Ah, yes. If you try to use the console while the mission chat tab is highlighted, you end up using an invisible console. Hit ` again to get out.

Absolutly nothing works. I'll just re-install Vendetta. Might work...

At what part of the log-in process or game do you discover that "nothing" works?

Check your key config. I had this problem once... just go to options, keyboard, and you'll see the problem.

Then check the options before logging in... But I doubt that's it, because you did an uninstall/reinstall. It's probably some other program grabbing focus. What OS are you running in?

Can you even open the console? press `
Did you delete your wgaf.cfg and config.ini files? I am not sure if the uninstaller deletes those files so if you reinstalled to the same place, the old versions may still be there.

ray: I can't open the console, can't open the exit menu, can't do anything. I didn't delete the wgaf.cfg and config.ini, the uninstaller did.

Anyways I'm starting to get desperate for a solution. It would kinda suck if I were to leave because of my keyboard not working with Vendetta anymore...

Since you are desparate, please manually delete the wgaf and config files. That way we can rule that out completely.

quiveri: Then delete the wgaf and config files and rerun the updater. If that doesn't fix it, go into Options->Keyboard->Reset to Defaults (or is it just "Defaults"?)

I found that all the control binds were wiped, so I jush ad to click on "Restore Defaults" to get them back. Phew! Glad to be able to play again :D
