Ok, stupid questions...

why is there no one around when i play the game.... I hate to ask such a question, because it seems like there should be an obvious answer somewhere in the game or site or etc. But as far as I can see, everyone else does indeed play the game. And i see no mention of the universe being down.

I haven't played in several months and just got all the updates, etc.

What's the deal yo?

I don't think that this really counts as a bug. You should probably have posted in the General forum. The game is in flux so be patient and good things will come Soon™. :-)

Hampton:

The game seems empty because:

1) Vendetta has been closed to new accounts. Only people who signed up awhile ago when new accounts were open are able to play now. Some of theose people (like you) have not been playing - so there has been some attrition. New accounts will be open when stress-testing is needed.

2) Global chat has changed. When docked, set your channel to 100 and you may be connected with anyone else on who is in the know.

3) Vendetta is in an "akward stage" of beta-testing where features are added, then they tested for bugs, then more features are added. It's been slightly more exciting than paint drying up until now, but things have ben going well and the pace is picking up.

-Keep in mind that the best way to attract more players to log in is to hang around and let them see that YOU are on. Years ago when I joined I sometimes waited an hour or two before anybody came by, and we know THAT changed, right?

Exactly as FM stated and...there are no stupid questions except when you ask the same question after the answer is given. :-)

As for being hated, well, that depends on how your character behaves. (Just to warn you, if you are Serco, Itani already hates you and vise-versa)
