just for your information:
since i've recently been trying to chart neutral sectors' bot population (pirate), i've been getting in storms more often than usual.
of bug that got the game stuck at the loading screen (the bar won't even start advancing). i have conenction to the server for about a minute, then it times out. i can still logoff during that time, but the character in question will not be able to load again until i've done a full restart of the application.
here's hoping you find & eliminate the bug(s) soonª.

I have been in close to 3,000 different sectors to date and have hit numerous storms. The only location I've had any trouble was Pyronis j6 and that has been reported with a verbose 6 log.

If you are not having probs getting stuck at the loading screen when entering a
"storm-tossed" sector RelayeR, you are really lucky. This prob was big a while ago
but seemed to have been fixed. Now (that is, within the last week or so) it's BAAACK. My most recent experiences have been in Divinia K-4 and F-10. Oh, and the "Two Hour" storm in Divinia K-4 has been there since Monday evening.

I wonder if the tutorial storm will become permanent...

Don't feel useless, tosh. Look at mine first. You may find a better way. :-)

RattMann: I spent countless hours in Pyronis j6 waiting for a storm to check out Elder God's report that he couldn't jump out when one hit while he was in there. I haven't been able to do that yet but have come to the sector while one was there and couldn't jump in without locking.

It has only happened to me three or 4 times (not counting the 5 times I recorded in j6) so, yes...I do feel really lucky.
