Yesterday my vendetta got confused. I wasn't able to steer anymore. increasing/decreasing speed still "worked", in that it set my wanted-speed, but my real speed didn't change.
Suddenly, my speed was _11634_ (yeah, really. Look here:

I exited (had no idea what else I could do).
Now, when reentering, I'm in a Ion Storm, and about 430 Km away from the exit point ( http://images.isja.org/images/dump0016.jpg )
Heeeeeeeeelp!
I don't want to fly that far...

I'm another one of those Mac users that had this happen once in a while back in the day.....

But yes, this has happened to me once under the current version. It was only a few
days ago, and I forgot to post it to "Bugs." I was botting in Divinia D-13 I think,
minding my own business, when *blink* I was suddenly well away from the 'roid
field, drifting without any control. I was not as far as "Douglas," nor did I achieve
spectacular speed, but the only remedy was "ESC."

interesting bug, have you thought of just /exploding to get back to a station?

may it be caused by a storm being created in a sector you're in?
