Hmm, first trial run crashed hard after "firing the scanner" during a spy mission (had to restart). ATM I'm downloading a 109789KB update... bug?

Maybe the 1.0.2 update wasn't commited to disk yet when your machine froze. After the restart the file was likely corrupted and thus is being downloaded again. Just a guess.

No, my machine froze ingame, With "firing the scanner" I did not mean powering up some hardware but doing something during one of the new Vendetta missions. The Game was already updated to 1.0.2, which is a 2 or 3MB update. After restarting the Mac I was forced to update again, this time more than 100 MB.

this would get seen faster in the bugs forum.

Right, right... my first attempt was to post a general "1.0.2 is out" thread, but yes, it's only a bug report. :-/
