(Torren) Linux-Client fails md5-sum

Argh.. I mean "Torrent", not "Torren". Cant edit the Topic :-/

After downloading the file 'vendetta-linux-installer.sh' via bittorrent i got an md5-sum error after starting the installer:

bash-2.05b$ ./vendetta-linux-installer.sh --check
Verifying archive integrity...Error in MD5 checksums: 11141ce24296add74feeeea4f904ca90 is different from 39ada5e72c054f5072828043f2849e73

I tried to DL the file twice... same Problem (also same 'wrong' md5-sum). Now i really feel pissed off. Well, ok, now i know how the Strike Force in Odia must have felt some minutes before the update.... ;-)

Whats wrong with the file?

Crap, my torrent seed did the same thing, but the original file works, and is the same size... Looking into it..

the root seed somehow became corrupt while `scp'ing it onto the server.

the torrent is now http://vendetta-online.com/torrent/vendetta-linux-setup.sh.torrent (instead of -install.sh.torrent). This is fixed.

Sorry about that. Don't know what happened. The MD5s check out now.

So I need to redownload the -whole- thing?

it just did the same thing again.

seems that it becomes corrupt during seeding. i have no idea why.

Has anyone checked the other clients?

PS: So I should cancle this one too, eh?

The other clients MD5 fine. Yes, you need to cancel it.

http://vendetta-online.com/torrent/vendetta-linux-1.2.torrent is now verified to work.

I have no idea what the hell corrupted the file in the first place. Twice in a row, the same way, without adding or removing any bytes. Now it magically works.

It saves as vendetta-linux-installer.sh. Forget what I said about -setup.sh.
