After a while (10-15 mins?) i lose my sounds in game, and i must reboot to solve the problem. I can't even do the dxdiag directsound test and it doesn't say what's wrong ...

I have a xp2800+, asus a7n8x-deluxe, onboard nvidia soundstorm, 1 gig of DDR2700 ram, i run windows 2000 sp4

i have directx 9.0c, nvidia nforce drivers 4.27 for win2k

Man i played for nearly 4-5 hours with complete silence except teamspeak and sometimes winamp (those still work) .. any suggestion? I tried rolling back sound drivers, not better ...

Strange. We have some sound driver fixes for the next update (which should be Friday night). Maybe the update will help you when it's available.

I rolled back nforce drivers from 4.27 to 3.13, and so far it works, so its definitely a driver issue. New drivers came our recently for XP, but the win2k ones are not out yet.

When nvidia releases new drivers for win2k, can you try them and see if they work?

yeah i will .. but i have no idea when they are coming out.
