This is an old, known bug.

Yup, I saw this bug earlier to, a pretty big one as well with huge exploit potential, I've noticed its been mentioned before now I've searched the forums, funny though, since I know a few beta players found this bug and didn't want to tell anyone (as though it will help them, there will be a pwipe before game goes live afterall) :-P

Well known and reported bug, BUT it only works where YOU have to buy the cargo 'because we cant get in touch with any of our agents / operatives'
On missions where you are GIVEN the cargo when you dock this will not work :P

Oops, guess that makes me an idjit for doing exactly what I wasn't supposed to do... I took down the message, since it's old and reported anyway, and I'll try to keep my head thinking instead of reacting.
