Symptom:
When docked and attempting to buy and sell items, or equip and unequip your ship nothing happens. Select ship option does not work either (you can attempt to select the ship, but Select button does nothing) All other game functions, including chat and flight, perform normally.
Frequency:
Couple times a day (2 times within an 8 hour period), and infrequently. Has been occuring since last patch.
Solution:
/logoff and returning immediately fixes the problem.(database connectivity?)

I saw this problem, too... on a nearly completely different system (Gentoo Linux, P3 1 Ghz, 512 MB RAM, SB Audigy, Radeon 9500Pro, 1280x960). I created an earlier thread, but nobody else replied... I figured I was going crazy. Since the last patch, though, I haven't had it occur.

It's called "severe short-term lag". As in the server got slowed down for some reason or another.
