Servercontrolled channels needed

1) generate a char "Transport"
2) join 202
3) write "me left Odia Stronghold for Serco SkyCommand, Sector XY - with .... uhm ... 7 kittycats"

We need some protection for the transport-mission-channel.
Suggestion: make players unable to speak in such channels

and, no. do not try this at home, kids... "Transport" is still under my control

No, this is definitely a bug (unless the devs intended the convoy announcements be unreliable due to player infultration and sabatage).

And, if that can be done, then nation channels can be re-introduced.

(Serco always had the bast chat channel, didn't we, Ruby? :-) )

Nah, I was listening in on the Itanis on my serco character... boring chat. All you get is "OGM OGM! SErC0 is pwning us in S7!! oGM!".

Nice bug :). Maybe this info can be placed in another "chat" tab?

Yeah, i mean, i've been doing the odd "me delivered 3 cases of odian homebrew to the alky in Sol II...lol" and sure, you can see this is me peeing about after you have read it...lol but i did have someone shout "Go Serco" and then, "oh, its you yoda....lol" Maybe a way to set the channel read only is the answer, for now, in the long term, i think it belongs on another tab, maybe mission??... You know *Mission bot says, A serco transport has left blah de blah...."

Oh, and is it AN UNIT ??...pmsl
