Upon destroying the second "GuideBot", I was directed to return to my home station in Pyronis, sector *A1*. My home sector was actually Pyronis, sector *D12*.

This is universal. The script or whatever is running the mission is not reading the data for your homestation correctly and is printing out A-1 by default.

Can you imagine a newbie following those directions and finding a hive queen (and entourage) instead of a nice warm space station?

Yep... just confirming this one, got it too. Starting out as a Itani newb in Eo system. It said I should go to my home station in sector A-1, when it should have said J-11.

Yeah, that wouldn't be good if a new player found a hive queen, or even if they just ran into an ion storm. Even that would be a little too much at first.
