When I started the beta, I was only allowed to take the beginner combat missions. After the reset, I see that I can take Advanced combat missions right from the start.

Is this a bug (i.e. holdover from the reset) or should newbies in free busses be allowed to go on advanced combat missions?

I dunno, but I think veterans in free busses should be allowed to go on more "interesting" advanced combat missions.

yes, but the Advanced missions aren't more interesting, they are actually -less- interesting. See other bugreport.

I know, Spider, I was there. I should have said, "I don't know why advanced combat missions are available to new pilots, but they should be more "interesting" for those veterans who can't stand killing scores of low-level collectors."
