Ok, real nitpicky here. So flame away, if you like. (Wubby put on flame resistant suit)

In the Backstory (our great historical tome), it notes that the first wormhole opened to a system near the other side of the galaxy. (2239) (Now SolII, controlled and spoiled by the totalitarian Serco!)

Yet, after it stopped working, the history describes them as being "millions of light years apart in real space". (2310)

The visible disk of the MilkyWay Galaxy is though to only be 100,000 light years in diameter. "Millions of light years" is outside our galaxy, with the closest galaxy being 30 million light years distant.

Should this be fixed? No rush, really. Just a nitpick.

You know, I had never thought of that...

Thanks for ruining my fantasy, you flame-retardent suit wearing meanie :(

On a more serious note, yea, for continuity I guess it should be changed, but it's not that big of a deal for me...

Since the galexies are *only* connected by wormholes and no other physical connection exists, who is to say how much space actually exists between the known system pockets?

Ah, but the history clearly says that the *systems* (connected via wormhole) are in *this* galaxy ("near the other side of the galaxy").

If the wormhole was actually to other galaxies, thats fine. I think that would be great! Talk about potential for expansion!

You're right... that is nitpicky.....

but for the record, you have a point... and it's not too much to change.. just every printed manual in productiion.... I guess the next gold release can have the corrected values eh?

I didn't realize it was in the printed manual. I haven't gotten my box yet.

Oh, well. Like anyone reads stuff in dead-tree format anymore!
