Is it possible.....

To rewrite the code so that missions will be remembered sever side I live in large city and power disrups are an everyday accurance so on an average, 50% of my missions are a bust.

Now I know that disconects are a common thing across the whole of the Vendetta community,I was wondering why this is not allready done this way?

Where you are is remebered why not what you were doing?

Now for those of you who are going to say get a battery back up,

I probably will, but I will have to get one for my cable modem and my router and my switch as all are in different rooms.

So you see why I am asking this question first!

Well I guess its good at least that we arent being punished for disconects with reguards to missions. (wink)

Missions are stored server side. If you disconnect during a tutorial or a combat mission, it continues on when you log back on. Most other missions auto-fail if you log off. Which mission are you taking that is lost when you disconnect?

The cargo missions... I am trying to up my corp faction standings, and as you know (better than I do) much of those are multi phase or progressive.

I can some of the time sneak in a one run dlevery but if its a multy job or a long haul, well it will pretty much be a loss.

I dont know if there is diff between log off and disconect but I am talking about disconect not log off.

Cheers/ and thnak you for answering!

Why not just have a reasonable time limit on completing some missions, and leave it at that? Logged in, logged out -- shouldn't matter if you can get the job done in time.
