Check the group memebers. I'm not member of it. I cant leave the group either, cause I'm not a member. I can create a new one, and leave that, and then it goes away.

The same I thing happened to me before. But the bar was slightly messed up. I thought it was a graphical glitch or something.
On a related note. The opposite happened to me twice in 1.1.3. As a group member higher in the list than me left, I lost the group hud and everyone showed up as green. Group chat still worked though.
