Space suits
How about a ship that costs very little, or is free, that looks like just a small dude in a space suit?
No guns, no cargo space, next to no armor, 5ms top speed, no turbo and no power cell.
What is it good for? Well, transferring to another ship without wasting it's hold on storing your ship, of course.
Also, it'd be a great RP element, at least once we get player pilotable multi-user ships!

Unless you docked in it using a space suit (just another ship, but small) how would you undock?
It's not like you could just leave another ship out there.

If spacesuits were introduced, then there should be the possibility to leave the hatch of the ship open so that you get sucked into space once you undock. Anyone remember Spaceship Warlock?
