Charged Cannons...

...are too weak. In the time it takes to charge up 2800, any other gun could do that much damage, and with a shot that homed, no less. The charged cannon should do 1000-10000 depending on charge, IMO.

That would make it an unbalanced �bergun. Remember, you can also shoot it without charging it... 400dmg per hit. I find this to be annoying with the mouse but if I had a joystick trigger it'd probably be just fine.

It still moves at a pretty slow velocity, doesn't it? Who knows what the role of the charged cannon will really be. Avalons showed up before the frigate did. I bet that the charged cannon would be just the ticket for attacking freighters (not trade ships, bigger) or Serco shocktroop transports. Against such ships they'd be like rockets that never run out.

PS: Speaking of large freighters, when is the Centaur going to be scaled up? The thing looks like it could be huge to me. :)

The centaur was supposed to be much bigger, but it wouldn't fit in station docking bays. :) So we're keeping it smaller for now.

Make big docking bays with little doors that open and close. :)

What about simply adding a docking 'pad' in the area between the two towers to replace the two side bays on top by the tower?

Just remember people, the current version eats power very quickly.
So if your going to want more damage there will most likely be more power consumption

maybe make a large port version of the charged cannon.
